There are currently six races in Delphine from which a starting player
Six may sound like little but in fact every race has 7-10 guilds (clerical, magical, physical and subguilds) which makes the total number of guilds close to 60 at the time of writing.
So all in all, there's plenty to choose from.

Ogre -- OGRE --
Ogres are large, tribal humanoids that sought refuge in the foreign lands after a terrible disaster caused their home island of Groene to turn into a frozen wasteland. They were given some land by humans and catfolk, in exchange for the protection offered by these fierce giants. Nowadays they reside in the mountain highlands near catfolk city. To this day, the arrangement has proved to be a beneficial one to all parties.
Ogres are clumsy, but their strength is formidable. They are simple folk, and very superstitious. They are afraid of the undead when their priests are not present. They are allergic to catfolk hair, making the co-operation between these races tedious at best. They are great consumers of alcohol and they have developed special affinity to booze, gaining additional beneficial effects while drinking.

Their glorious leader is Tyki.
They are stronger than humans.
